Factory Sell Single Phase Pole Mounted Oil Power Transformer 75 kVA 50 kVA
Products Description
Single phase pole mounted transformers are normally used for stepping utility distribution voltages (from 2400V to 34500V) down to lower utilization voltages. Although some are used for stepping down to commercial and industrial voltages such as 277V, 240/480V, 2400V and 4800V, most are used for stepping down to the single phase voltage of 120/240V.
These transformers also used for small substation, miscellaneous applications and can serve to step up voltages. Two main types are produced: single phase pole mounted conventional transformer and completely self protected (CSP) transformer. Power rating up to 167kVA.
The production fully complies with or even exceeds international standards such as ANSI/IEEE, CSA, and DOE. These units have UL/cUL, CSA, IEEE and other certificates and are exported globally in large quantities.
Certifications
Single phase transformers hold UL/cUL, CSA, CESI, and IEEE certifications. In addition, they have SGS, CSA and other third-party inspection reports to ensure global quality compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is the primary application of a single phase pole mounted transformer?
A: They are primarily used to step down utility distribution voltages (2400V to 34500V) to lower utilization voltages, most commonly the single-phase voltage of 120/240V for residential and light commercial use.
Q: What is the difference between Conventional and CSP type transformers?
A: Conventional types require external protection, whereas CSP (Completely Self Protected) units include internal secondary circuit breakers, primary protective links, and surge arresters for built-in protection.
Q: What standards do these transformers comply with?
A: Our transformers meet or exceed international standards including ANSI/IEEE, CSA, and DOE energy efficiency standards, and carry UL/cUL certifications.
Q: Can these transformers be customized for specific project needs?
A: Yes, we offer full customization services where engineering teams can design and produce transformers based on specific technical parameters and regional requirements.
Q: What is the typical lead time for production?
A: For conventional power distribution transformers, the typical production time is approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
Q: What routine tests are performed before shipment?
A: Routine tests include leak tests, polarity/phase relation, resistance, no-load and load loss tests, applied/induced voltage tests, and full wave impulse tests.
